ESSAY TOPIC: Juanita Jackson Mitchell became one of the first African American women to graduate from the University of Maryland School of Law and was the first African American woman to be admitted to the Maryland bar. She was a leader and a crusader for issues that were important to her and she used her law degree to make significant positive impacts in her community. In the spirit of Juanita Jackson Mitchell and all of her accomplishments, how will you use your law degree to positively impact your community?
